Terrasapiens
- Basic Overview -
Also known as "Children of the World", Terrasapiens are actually Homosapiens born from the very world itself. When the world detects a great disturbance on the surface, it spawns a child to correct the problem. This child grows up with pure innocence and naievity, it's mind set simply upon it's duty given by the Mother Terra. It is perfection in thinking, and cold without emotion.. Only that of common sense and curiousity, and a need to survive.
- Powers -
Being children of Mother Terra, Terrasapiens have the power to shift and bend the rock, dirt, terra around them to their will.. Though this slowly depleets their energy, and after a while, they must rest to restore their energy.
Another nifty trade of the Terrasapiens is that they can heal wounds simply by applying dirt to it.. This dirt will instantly dry and be absorbed into the body, becoming flesh, bone, skin, whatever the body needs to heal.
- Religion -
Terrasapiens know nothing of "religion".. Their only concern is that of the Mother Terra, and the duty given to them by the Mother Terra. The world is their religion, and they strive to protect it, their Mother, as an untainted child would inevitably do. This, however, changes completely when they perish..
- Spirit of the Terrasapien -
When a Terrasapien is committed unto death, their purity is tainted, and they gain the emotions of humans and other mortal creatures. Hate, love, lust, sorrow.. Any emotion ever felt is available to them. And because of this, they can become jealous of those who live, even though the Terrasapien is now dead.
Unlike most spirits, Terrasapien spirits are bound to the world, and cannot be sent into the depths of fire that await them. The Mother Terra keeps them upon the surface, forever to walk it. The Terrasapien spirit, making sure it cannot go lonely, learns to make itself known to others by becoming visible, moving objects, speaking audibly, etc. Basically anything for a little company.
