Shin Gouki Z
Name: Gouki
Aka: Shin Gouki (Z for immortal)
Height: 5'8
Weight: 177 lbs
Blood type: ???
Style: Dark Shotokan
Teacher: None
Appearance:
Gouki has bright red hair, almost like fire, that is tied up in the middle into a bun. He wears a massive beaded necklace, a symbol of his power. His traditional blue gi splits down the neck, and ties at the waist, where his pants begin. He wears no shoes, and brown gauntlets around each wrist.
History:
Gouki was a mere watcher of a style he did not comprehend, and suddenly became very interested in it. He found, from his brother Gouken, that there was a darker side to this style, and became intruiged in the story. Shen Long, the founder of this very style, found the darker side, and was so compelled by it, he destroyed himself, sealing the scrolls that taught this style away for eternity. Several years later, Gouki found the scrolls, and sold his soul to recover them, and learn the ultimate style. After he had learned this style, Gouki changed, his entire being becoming a demon, with no soul. He destroyed his brother, using the styles ultimate move, the Shun Goku Satsu, which is the most dangerous move ever attempted. -Will explain the move and its history later- After the death of his brother, Gouki set out to find people worthy to experience his power. His first stop was a place in the east, called LH. His victims suffered at the hands of his unbelieveable power, as he realized his potential. After moving on to several places, destroying every fighter he could find, he wound up in the Castle of Dragons. Since this was new to him, he decided to test every fighter there, going through each of them, searching for someone to give him the ultimate challenge. After meeting with everyone in the castle, Gouki started suffering an uncomprehendable pain, his punishment for selling his soul. He became in need of death...the pain he caused others relieving his own pain somewhat, but this was not enough. Gouki became involved in the power struggle for the Castle's leadership, taking the lead in the fight against Thalia Nyghtfallen. Meanwhile, Gouki took part in the World Tournament, searching for his challenge there, His win proved that he was still too much for those who tried, and he kept his training up, until he ultimate realization: he could perfect his power. He trained for many years, finally achieving his true form, now calling himself Shin Gouki, or "True Wariior/Demon"
Shin Gouki became the most feared fighter in any land, proving his power time and time again. After his second World Title, Gouki came back to the Castle. Now, he continues his assault on the people of the Castle, one day hoping for one of them to end his eternal suffering, and end the struggle for power.
(I'd like to thank Kenshiro Mauryama for the idea of this character. Kenshiro is the originator of this name, and was considered a legend amongst those at the Comic City chatroom. Again, it was an honor to play such a character, and I just wanted to give Kenshiro his credit this time around.)#nosmileys
