[glow=white,3,300] Seiryou Shinjou[/glow] Name: Seiryou Shinjou Aliases: "Golden Fighter", "Hero of Blackfyre" Age: Unknown Height: 6 feet, 0 inches Weight: 190 lbs Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black Blood Type: Unknown Race: Saiya-jin Weapon: Caladbolg Family: Vyeriaz (wife), Ayumi (son), Desarie (daughter), Naiyami (sister) Alignment: Hero Markings: Cross on right bicep [glow=red,2,300] The Look:[/glow] As a fighter, Seiryou is simply a marvel. His lean, muscular build puts him in at just under 200 lbs, allowing for a perfect combination of speed and strength. After attempting to change his image to a new, youthful look, Seiryou had found that it wasn't him at all, and went back with what he had always looked like. Seiryou has one of the oddest hairstyles; a black array of strands that rest off his head quite a ways, and never grow any longer in length. His black eyes are often gentle, but when he is forced to, they pierce through even the strongest demeanor. Aside from his gentle facial features, Seiryou is built like a fighter. Just below his shoulder on his bicep, Seiryou has a small cross engraved in his skin, a dedication to all the fallen loved ones that still stay with him in spirit. When Seiryou turns Super Saiya-jin, his body only changes slightly. Seiryous hair takes on a golden blonde color, getting longer and reshaping with every different transformation. Seiryous eyes take on a teal color instead of his normal black as well, and his body stays relatively the same aside from the muscle tension. In Super Saiya-jin 3, Seiryou loses his eyebrows and his eyes turn a deeper shade of blue, his golden hair growing much longer than any of the other previous transformations. [glow=navy,2,300] The Outfits:[/glow] A gift from the old trainer in Yagath, Seiryou wears his tan gi as a tribute to his old mentor, finding it to be the most comfortable fit. Seiryou wears a blue undershirt made of a loose material, allowing for easy movements from any position. Over the top of the undershirt, Seiryou wears a tan training gi with blue wrist bands, tied around his waist by a blue belt. The gi pants are the same as the top, giving way to his brown/blue boots, made of very light material to allow for quicker movements. The gi is made of a very strong fabric that protects against weaker physical blows, helping absorb some of the force. As a means of casual wear, Seiryou had a special outfit made just for him. The jacket consists of a very light orange/tan material, with black sleeves and a black color. Though he usually wears the jacket open, it is able to be buttoned together all the way up to the collar. Under the jacket, Seiryou wears a plain white tanktop, something casual for whenever it would get hot, or if he was training. His pants have a khaki-like look, though they're a lime-green color, held up by a simple brown belt that ties around the waist. His shoes are variations of his training boots, though much smaller, completing his outfit. [glow=Maroon,2,300] The Man:[/glow] Seiryou is the most gentle of men trapped in a body that could destroy the entire world. As a boy, Seiryou went through tragedy more times than not, and though that usually induces some sort of rage and resentment, Seiryou took it in as something else. Not wanting others to feel the pain he did, Seiryou fights for what he believes is right, trying to save others the pain that he had once went through. A responsible man and a loving father, Seiryou was a prime choice for the Lord of Blackfyre simply due to the fact that his heart is pure, and he cares about each and everyone of his patrons. Though sometimes distant about it, Seiryou is very much in love with his wife, and would do anything in his power to make sure she is happy. In general, Seiryou is a very laid-back man, liking to enjoy his time with his family and friends. Though deep in his heart, Seiryou yearns for the fight. For the raw competition that comes with every battle. The emotion, the challenge, the thrill of the fight. The Saiya-jin blood that flows through Seiryous veins make him an unstoppable fighting machine, but the purity of his heart makes him the most loving father. [glow=orange,2,300] The Story:[/glow] Seiryou was born into this world as a Saiya-jin, a race of warriors who only fought to survive. Aware of his abilities at a young age, Seiryou travelled the world as a child to enter many tournaments, testing his incredible fighting talents against some of the worlds best. During his journey, Seiryou found himself in the area of Blackfyre, where he was taken in as a brother of sorts to Toric Blackfyre, the heir to the Blackfyre throne. With Toric as Lord, and Seiryou as a prized fighter and Patron of the Castle, Blackfyre prospered like never before, until the War of the Republic began. Forced into a situation beyond his control, Seiryou lost his childhood friend during the politics, and became Lord himself, defeating the threat and ending the war. Seiryou had settled down as Lord, marrying Vyeriaz Shinjou, and having two children, Ayumi and Desarie. Not too long after, Seiryou was forced into a confrontation with a being with powers similiar to his own. Seiryou was thought to be dead during the fight, but he disappeared into the world, travelling for 5 years until finally making his way back to Blackfyre...a completely new man. [glow=green,2,300] The Evolution of Seiryou:[/glow] Every once in awhile, you come across this idea in your head that really just fits, and covers every basis you want it to. A few years back, I had this idea to play a Saiya-jin, the type of character I had always been able to identify with; strong, fast, smart, and able to adapt to anything. I started Seiryou off as a boy, and had him grow into quite possibly my best character. There's al ot of talk about Sephirah being the best, and though at this point he may just be, I honestly think I can make Seiryou even better. Such a perfect blend of pure speed and power, and the rich roleplay history he's already been through, makes it so that one day, perhaps, Seiryou will surpass Sephirah as my greatest character. Using Son Gokou as the character image only seemed to fit; they have a lot of similiarties, and they both have that classic hero aspect to them. Though I tried to change Seiryou to a new look early in this new story, it failed miserably. I just didn't feel comfortable fighting with him, nor did I like the way I was using him in the roleplay. His fighting style has only evolved for the better, as most fighters do, so there isn't much change there. With Seiryous wiser attitude, and his return, the storylines should be deeper, more thought out than before, which makes for even better roleplay. We've seen what he can do with his fighting skills; now it's time to see what he can do as a major character. The challenge of taking a Saiya-jin character and making him a respectable roleplay character, not just a fighter. Seiryou will only evolve through story, not through anything else, because simply put...there's no way to surpass the image and the skill he's at right now.

[glow=orange,2,300] Shippu-Ryuken:[/glow] The art of the Dragon Fist is something Seiryou learned from the old man in the kingdom of Yagath. A very simplistic style, the Shippu-Ryuken centers around quick, fluid movements, and short, unorthodox offensive manuevers. Seiryou had mastered the style very early, finding its free form to be something he was able to adapt to rather quickly. Shippu-Ryuken encourages the destruction of conforming, rather finding a different alternative to every situation to allow for user comfortability. Recognizing that all people are different, the style allows the user to form their own technique according to their own speed and strength restrictions. Seiryous style of Ryuken is called the Shippu-Ryuken, or Shinryuken, the "True Form". With his Super Saiya-jin abilities, Seiryou is able to perform almost any manuever, using his speed and flexibility to make his style simply unstoppable. [glow=brown,3,300] The Stances:[/glow] Seiryou's stance is the epitome of flawlessness, able to execute the required positions with the utmost perfection. The right side of the body faces the opponent, while the right leg is bent at the knee, facing at a 45* angle out from the body. The right shoulder, as a result of the bent leg, is dipped forwards to lower towards the ground, the right arm bent at the elbow to rest level with the thigh of the right leg. The left leg is bent only slightly, mostly straight to anchor the body, extended backwards. From there, the left arm brought upwards to counter the right arm position, bent at the elbow to allow the hand to rest just below shoulder level. The footing is loose, not tight and restrictive. The hand positions are open, like claws, the fingertips curling in on both hands to allow for quick grabbing/countering motions. The stance as a whole allows for quick counter movements, and brings the dominant side of Seiryou, the right, into the forefront to give him the advantage. The second stance allows for more of a defensive base against left handed competitors, utilizing the full positions to counter any oncoming attacks. The stance starts with the left side facing the opponent, the left leg bent at the knee, pointing forwards. The left arm is bent down so that it places just above the bent knee, the left side of the body lowering to face the opponent. The right leg is straightened out to support the weight like in the previous stance, the right arm bent backwards to allow the right arm to stay infront of the body. Both hands are curled inwards, the index finger and thumb pointed outward to allow for quick, precise hand movements. The stance overall is highly effective against left handed competitors, and though quite useful, Seiryou just about never uses it. [glow=red,2,300] The Energy:[/glow] Seiryou's technique for gathering energy is absolutely flawless, allowing the best connection to his energy from any position he may be in. When trying to bring energy forth to the surface for use, Seiryou usually brings both of his arms upwards to rest before his face, crossing them in an X, his intertwined wrists resting at about face level. Both hands clench into fists, the added pressure of the body allowing the energy to flow strongly through the body. The manuever is perfect for gathering energy within Seiryou's Super Saiya-jin transformation. Seiryous legs are the bent just a bit at the knees, his body tensed, both of his feet about shoulder length apart. With his muscles tensed, and the lower base of his body closer together, Seiryou can bring his energy to the surface quicker and easier than in any other position. When in Super Saiya-jin, the energy that is brought forth is formed much stronger and much faster than normal, as he is not using the energy to transform, rather using it to increase his own power.

[glow=white,3,500] Seiryous Abilities:[/glow] Seiryou is quite possibly one of the strongest men to have ever graced any battlefield. His strength and speed are simply unmatched by any he has ever faced, unparallell to those that have seen it. With complete control over his own energy, and energy outside of his body, Seiryou has become a master with almost every type of energy possible. Along with his talents, Seiryou has also acquired a few techniques that have left his opponents utterly speechless, such as his imaging abilities that allow him to create after images with his incredible speed. =======================================================================[glow=black,4,300] Shinkamehameha:[/glow] Ability Name: Shinkamehameha Type: Energy Origin: Seiryou (Offensive) Synopsis: During his five-year journey, Seiryou had been working to perfect his energy release, and after finding flaw after flaw with his previous technique, he tried to master a different way. The Shinkamehameha is the epitome of absolute destruction leaving the body, having surpassed anything Seiryou had ever imagined. The technique is primarily fired out of the palm after being gathered, though the variations of the move leaving the body are endless. With Seiryou perfecting the technique, the energy can be gathered and released from any part of the body, such as the feet/hands. The wave is then released, and upon departure from the body, the physical structure of the energy can be manipulated to change directions, and size. Seiryou's transformed state only makes the ability stronger, allowing different energy variations in either form, though the Super Saiya-jin transformation makes the wave even stronger than the previous technique he had used. Seiryou had also learned how to hide the energy upon gathering, having the option of either making the energy visible, or releasing it instantly out of nowhere. ==============================================================================================================================================[glow=black,4,300] Super Saiya-jin:[/glow] Ability Name: Super Saiya-jin Type: Transformation Origin: Seiryou (N/A) Synopsis: Many have called Seiryou the "Golden Fighter" due to the fact that he can explode into a golden flame at will, increasing his fighting power tremendously. The transformation is induced when the Vaiou energy inside Seiryou mixs with his inner energy, bonding together to form a highly powerful inner strength that shows through in his physical appearance. When the energy bonds together, it becomes a golden flow of power, seeping through to the external figure. Seiryous hair stands up on its own, turning to a golden blonde color, his eyes turning to a slightly teal hue, signifying the transformation. Seiryou is capable of going into stages 2 and 3, but mainly stays within the confines of the first transformation, having mastered it completely. ==============================================================================================================================================[glow=black,4,300] Super Saiya-jin 4:[/glow] Ability Name: Super Saiya-jin 4 Type: Transformation Origin: Seiryou (N/A) Synopsis: Seiryou had no idea what limits his power had, but after achieving the incredible form of Super Saiya-jin 4..it was all but clear. The speed and strength increase of the form is absolutely amazing, even by the standards of Super Saiya-jin 3. Seiryou's body goes through a massive change, much more primal than even the third stage. His hair doesn't change color this time around, but grows in length, going down to his upper chest. His eyes turn this beastial yellow color, with a red tint to them, while his body is covered with a red fur that stops over his chest. Even with such an abundant increase of energy, Seiryous physical change makes up for the increase, allowing his body to sustain the form and function normally.. With such an incredible increase in power and speed, Seiryou's energy gathers much quicker during the first moments of the transformation. (Prep +1). ==============================================================================================================================================[glow=black,4,300] The Shunkan Idou:[/glow] Ability Name: Shunkan-Idou Type: Energy Origin: Seiryou {Defensive} Synopsis: The Shunkan-Idou is an instant teleportation technique, allowing the user to instantly disappear and reappear anywhere as long as their mind had locked on that point prior. The body dematerializes into nothing, and reappears wherever the user commands, making this technique probably the most useful out of all of Seiryous abilities. Along with the usefulness in the areas mentioned above, Seiryous Shunkan Idou can also create energy signals that duplicate his own, making this an invaluable technique. ==============================================================================================================================================[glow=black,4,300] Arcania Fallalyia:[/glow] Ability Name: Arcania Fallalyia Type: Energy Origin: Seiryou (Offensive/Defensive) Synopsis: After fusing with Silver Aeon long ago, Seiryou gained the ability to control the energy Aeon had created called Amorphia. While trying to regain the control over his energy he once had, Seiryou had stumbled upon the energy laying dorment within him, finding its use rather valuable, slightly altering its use and release to fit his own needs. Arcania Fallalyia is released into the energy currents by either Seiryous aura or his energy, which connects it directly with his energy use. The Amorphic properties within the entity begin to eat away and destroy any energy that does not carry Seiryous 'signature', but does not do any physical harm. The properties of the amorphic entity seeks out the source of any energy within the currents, and begins eating away at it, destroying it completely out of existance. ==============================================================================================================================================[glow=black,4,300] Shunkunetsu:[/glow] Ability Name: Shunkunetsu Type: Image Origin: Seiryou (Offensive/Defensive) Synopsis: A master of the speed and imaging tricks, Seiryou perfected one move during his travels, calling it "the most effective ability he's ever mastered". Seiryous speed in the Super Saiya-jin form allows for the momentary after image to be left behind, though for some reason, Seiryou was never quite able to harness that form into a usable move. With Seiryou moving so fast, the after image is then formed into a perfect duplicate of his body, not at all tangable, but only touching it would allow the person to know. The molecules in the air are given a reflective coating, and are guided by Seiryous previous movements to make it seem as if the apparation is really Seiryou himself. Seiryou always thought the move was useless when he had first tried it out, but now with the perfection of Shunkan Idou, and the ability to duplicate his energy signal, the opponent would have no idea that the apparation was not truly Seiryou. The technique is perfect for getting out of tight jams, or tricking the opponent into a move that would surely result in death. ==============================================================================================================================================[glow=black,4,300] Ki Flash:[/glow] Ability Name: Ki Flash Type: Energy Origin: Seiryou (Defensive) Synopsis: After mastering his own ki/energy, Seiryou began studying the outwards manifestations of the inner energies his opponents were using. Noticing the signals were not all that different, he realized that if he used his own energy, he could split their energy and make it disappear. When Seiryou catches an energy wave, if it isn't considerably stronger than him, he can nullify it to nothing with a mere exertion of his energy. Seiryous energy begins to move to his hands, and once it releases, it invisibly envelopes the incoming energy, and compresses it until there is nothing. Though highly effective, it can be quite draining to do all the time. Seiryou has begun practicing the technique over and over on smaller energy waves, attempting to learn any secrets within the technique. =======================================================================

[glow=yellow,2,300] The Saiya-jins:[/glow] Name: Saiya-jins Appearance: Human Hair Color: Varies Eye Color: Varies (Mostly black/blue) Synopsis: Pride. Saiya-jins are known for their incredible sense of pride, something that has been passed on through generations. The Saiya-jins are a warrior race, full of incredible fighters that possess abilities most cannot even fathom. Far superior to a human in the area of speed and strength, a Saiya-jin has the ability to increase their energy level at will, beyond anything a normal human, or most other races for that matter, can possibly think of. With their incredible sense of pride, and unparallell abilities, Saiya-jins rarely have problems on the battlefield. One of their most amazing abilities is their ability to go "Super Saiya-jin", a series of transformations that increases their power by unimaginable heights. Everytime a Saiya-jin is heavily wounded in battle, their power increases once healed, making them quite unstoppable if they manage to heal themselves. Known to mostly be viscious tyrants, the only Saiya-jins left alive (Seiryou, and his two children), are kind-hearted souls, a far cry from their ancestors who terrorized everything in sight as savages.

[glow=black,4,300]Super Saiya-jin:[/glow] The Super Saiya-jin transformation is one of the most complex and intruiging evolutions any race has ever achieved, or witnessed. A Saiya-jin is born with a special 'life force' called Vaiou, which lays dorment within their body until awakened. Extreme emotion, or anger, can trigger the release of the Vaiou into their inner energy, allowing the Saiya-jin to grow significantly stronger. Vaiou becomes stronger after being depleted, or after the user has been heavily damaged, making a wounded or fatigued Saiya-jin a force to be recockened with. Once the Vaiou is released, it can bond with the users inner energy, inducing a remarkable transformation; Super Saiya-jin. Known to Seiryou, there are three forms of this transformation, all of which he can undertake.
The Transformation: When the Vaiou bonds with the inner energy, the energy becomes amplified incredibly, coursing faster through the users body. The bonded energy takes on a golden hue, which starts to emit from the users body in the form of an aura. The entire body undertakes a transformation, although only the hair and eyes are visible. The users hair begins to turn the same color as the energy, and the eye color switches from its normal to a teal color, making the transformation quite distinct. The rest of the body begins to adapt to the new energy coursing through it, and becomes physically stronger than before, allowing the user to go far beyond their normal limits. In Super Saiya-jin 3, the hair becomes much larger, and the eyebrows are removed, showing the extreme power and change the transformation induces in the user.
The Abilities: The word "Super" is actually quite an understatement for what the transformation actually does. The users strength. speed, coordination, and every sense in the body, is increased dramatically. The inner energy released is also much more powerful, almost making it seem like the energy was super-charged before being fired off. While in Super Saiya-jin, the body is drained quite signifcantly from the power increase, and cannot maintain that level of power for long. In stages 2 or 3, the limit is even lower, as the energy being put through the body is almost unconceivable.
Seiryou's Super Saiya-jin Evolution: Seiryou had managed to ascend to Super Saiya-jin at a very young age, allowing him a sufficient amount of time to study the transformation and what it does to his body. Aside from mastery of ki/atom manipulation, Seiryou has learned to control the power flow that drains out of his body everytime he transforms. Rather than let the physical strain be shown on his body, Seiryou has been able to live his day to day life in Super Saiya-jin form, making it no more draining than his original form. As well as the mastery of the form, Seiryou has been able to keep the incredible power of the other two transformations in the first stage, achieving the power brought on by the second and third stage in the original first stage.

The suns light was becoming merely a diminutive blanket over the land, the magnificent sight of the sunset setting his body at ease. Several drops of rain began to breath down upon the earth soon after, the entire disposition of the sky changing in such a short amount of time. The boy could only watch with longing blue eyes, his view of natures beautiful changes tainted by the cell bars that rested before him. It had been atleast a month, maybe more, since the boy and his mother were imprisoned in this remote location, the villagers paying no mind to their obvious needs, not once giving them anymore than a few pieces of bread, and some water. Two of the men stood infront of their cell, which was more like a cage than anything else, the top and sides draped by a tan tent material, only the front open to the outside world. The tribe of warriors had caught the boy and his mother trespassing on their land, and without hesitation, they were held captive, their punishment not yet decided. The boy watched the two men who were standing before his cage, his hell, his small hands resting on the bars, a look of fear and emotion crossing over his face. His mothers health was failing due to the lack of food and water, giving most of the rations to her son. The thoughts of losing his mother and being alone had only caused him to look at the men with a longing gaze, hoping that one of them would notice his blatant tears, and spare his world from being destroyed.
Each defiant rain drop splattered against the tent material, repeatedly tapping at the fabric, no longer giving the gentle comfort the boy was seeking. The sky had clouded up considerably, natures violent side showing through, a brilliant flash of lightning reigning down upon the land in the distance. At first, the boy thought it was just the thunder, but the sound was coming far too close to be natures clap. His tiny hands grasped the bars a bit tighter, seeing a faint flame coming out of the entrance of the woods, the numerous horses pounding into the ground in their run, coming closer and closer to the village. Most of the men in the tribe began readying their bows, the boys blue eyes lighting up, the thought of safety finally coming to be a reality. He let go of the bars to turn to his mother who rested in the corner, quickly moving over to her, his small fingers tapping against her cheek. his voice excited, yet fearful at the same time.
"Mama, wake up! Please, Mama, wake up!"
He pleaded with his mother to wake, and when she did, she was aware of the situation as well, having seen the armored horsemen enter the village on their brilliant steeds. Their guards were nowhere to be seen, obviously taking part in the battle that ensued, leaving the boy and his mother to escape at last. The woman pushed forward on the cage opening to move it upwards, the defiant rain pouring down upon both her and her son as they stepped out into the gruesome battlefield. Several of their captors lay in pools of blood along the ground, the crimson veil spreading quickly with the continuous rain, not knowing the reason for this battle, but they were not going to stand around to find out.
The boy grasped his mothers hand, running desperately towards the gate that led to the woods, passing by their darkly-clad saviors, trying to meet their eyes in a way of thanks, but could never manage to see them under the veil of night. Each moment that passed seemed like an eternity, the boys tiny little feet almost hitting the gate, grasping onto it with those tiny hands, starting to climb for his life. He couldn't see the arrow plunge through his mothers chest, but with the whistling sound that came closer and closer, coupled with the sound of the tip hitting flesh, the boy knew what had happened. His entire world shifted upside down at that very instant, his emotions running high, dropping from the fence to the wet ground below. His blue little eyes scan over his mothers fallen body, the piercing arrow sticking out from her chest, her pleading eyes staring straight back up at him. A flash of lightning ignited in the sky behind them, revealing the frightened look on his mothers face, and the look of horror on his own face. The tears streamed down his cheeks to mimick the rain fall, dropping to his knees, hugging his mother tightly, not wanting her to go. She fell limply in his arms, those bright eyes of hers closing for the final time. The boy yelled out into the rain, the tears flowing from his eyes, wanting more than anything for his mother to wake back up. He kept trying to wake her as if she was just sleeping, his futile attempts just tearing him apart inside.
Something within the tiny little boy awoke at that very moment, the extreme emotion running through his body causing something dorment within him to ascend to the surface in a bright flash of golden light. The boy screamed out into night, defiant to the storm, his hair standing upwards into a rush of energy, the normal color of black turning into a golden blonde color. The tears still flowed from his eyes, but they now carried a teal hue to them, his body becoming the lone bright spot in a battlefield full of death. When the boy stopped to look around, there was nothing but death around him, and he was alone, shining brightly in a golden flame. He closed his eyes, the distraught look still written all over his face, hugging his mothers limp body in his tiny little arms. He was alone. All alone.

It took ages for his tiny little arms to retract from around her limp figure, the storms violent tendancies disappearing to give way to a morning sunrise, revealing a gory scene under the gentle breath of the suns light. The boy stood around in absolute confusion, his expression not once losing that distraught look, seeing the death and destruction all around him. There was no explanation on what had happened, but the darkly-clad men on horseback won this battle with ease, destroying the native villagers home and taking their lives. His small feet began to walk around the hellish battleground, a sweeping look of fear moving over his features, afraid that he too would not make it out from this place alive. He had heard the thunderous slaps on the ground much earlier this time, almost wanting to run away and hide, but if he was going to meet his fate like his mother did, then he was going to do so straight-on, not running away. The horses rode out from the forest path near the village entrance in a single-file line, the lead horse trotting over towards the boys position, stopping just infront of him, the older man atop the mighty steed staring down at the lone survivor.
"We got us a survivor here, Tyrian. He's small enough for me to just take back myself."
This man seemed rather gentle in tone, his grey beard giving off a wise aura about him, his soft expression making the boys reluctance slowly slip away. When the older man reached his dark-gloved hand down to the boy, he placed his tiny hand within the glove, and allowed himself to get pulled up, resting on the horses back just behind the man. He wrapped both arms around his waist from his spot, hugging into his back, absolutely terrified and distraught, seeing his mothers body just laying there..lifeless. Caedus closed his eyes for a moment and let the boy cling onto him, a sense of sadness sweeping over his face, looking in the same direction the boy was, settling his brown hues on the slain woman. He shook his head slowly from right to left, putting the rest of the pieces to this puzzle together; this boy had lost his mother last night, and he was only maybe about 5 years of age. Caedus signaled with his right hand for the others to disembark, staying still for just a moment as the others departed. He turned his head to the right to look over his shoulder, spotting the boys saddened look, giving him a small, reassuring smile.
"I will make sure you are safe, young one. These villagers had been capturing and slaying innocents for far too long, and once we found them, we were not going to take things lightly. Your mother...she is with you in spirit, and I promise now to take care of you myself. What is your name, my son?"
The boy stared up at the old mans gentle expression, hugging onto his waist a bit tighter, several different emotions running through his body, causing tears to once again flow from his eyes, moving down the dark cloak that rested on Caedus' back. He had no else left, and this man seemed so sincere, so caring. The boy stared up at him, a few tears still rolling down his cheeks, placing trust in the older man, his meak little voice ringing through the barren battlefield.
"Seiryou.."
Caedus nodded his head in understanding, giving the boy one last look before pulling on the reigns of his stallion, the horse taking off through the gate to the forest path, heading north. This boy had such an odd look to him..the golden hair, the teal eyes..he had never seen anything like this before. Last night, during the battle, Caedus had seen the golden light shine from the gate, but he didn't believe it was anything at all. Could this boy have been the one who emitted that incredible glow? Caedus was almost excited at his find, but caring for the boy and protecting him was far more important. It was off to the kingdom of Yagath to introduce this boy to the king.

The horse ride north seemed to be so long, the intense heat of the days sun beating down on them when they had been out in the open, causing a slight discomfort to both the riders. When they had reached the shade of the forest path, Seiryou peaked out from around Caedus' waist to see a massive structure through the trees, his once-teary eyes lighting up in amazement. The structure seemed to be so large, a true kingdom like in the stories he had heard. As they neared, the castle was revealed to him more and more, the loud noises of the townspeople ringing out even as far as the forest path, bringing an excited smile to Seiryous face. He had never been to such a place like this, and though he had always wanted to see something like it in person, he was never given the opportunity. Caedus could feel his little passenger come at ease a bit when the castle was in view, the smile on Seiryous face reassuring him that he was doing the right thing by bringing him here. When they exited the forest path to ride along the main entrance to the castle gates, Caedus turned around to the younger one behind him, giving him a caring expression.
"Now Seiryou, this is the Castle of Yagath, where King Perion rules. I am his commanding knight, Caedus Hydnight. This place will be your new home, and you will be taken in as a personal guest to the king. Do not worry, I will not ever leave your side, young one. There is much I would like to learn about you."
The gentle breeze that hit Seiryous face did not deter the smile written all over it, the excited feeling not once ceasing in his body. Caedus mentioned that there was much to learn from him, but he didn't understand at all, not knowing what a strong warrior such as he would need with just a boy. Seiryou watched everything intently as they passed through the gates and into the courtyard, seeing all the royal guards, and all the people walking around freely, a friendly atmosphere of sorts. When the horse had come to a stop, he felt Caedus move slowly off the horse to hit the ground, reaching out to grasp his hand, making his way down to the ground himself. He walked alongside his new-found friend, curious at everything in this castle, wanting to learn everything there is to know about how it works, intruiged with everything that he was seeing.
The doors were opened for them by the two guards standing next to the wooden structures, stepping into the massive room, his head craning back to look up, seeing the ceiling way up above. It had seemed as if there was a party waiting for them, the room filled with men in red robes, each of them standing in a row around this one man, garbed in a red and white cape, a golden crown resting upon his head. Seiryou stopped in shock, not knowing at all what to do, looking up at Caedus for some direction, feeling himself squirm under their peering eyes. Caedus looked down at his young friend, then forwards towards his King, bowing at the waist to show his respect.
"The village of Naratha has been destroyed, M'Lord. There was only one survivor from the battle, a young boy whom stands next to me right now. Last night, our men discussed the sight of a golden glow that emitted from the battlefield, and today, we have that brought to us. King Perion, let me introduce you to the little boy responsible for that intense glow. Seiryou."

The King stared forward the golden-haired little boy next to his most trusted knight, his old eyes tracing the awkward spiked hair that rested on the boys head, a look of uncertainty coming over his face. Seiryou had reached a level the night prior that could not be explained, but even Seiryou did not know what had happened, nor could he control its occurances. He stared forward at all the eyes that were looking him over, and then up to Caedus, not knowing at all what to do, feeling as if he was letting his new friend down. When it happened, he was so angry and emotional, so he thought perhaps if he was able to tap into those emotions once again, something would happen. Seiryous tiny hands clenched into fists, and the concentration on his anger was enough to bring forth the energy from within, letting it come to the surface in the form of that familiar golden glow. Seiryou stood before the Council ignited in a golden flame, feeling the strain it was putting on his small body, wanting it to stop as soon as possible.
Their eyes were locked on the light in amazement of what the little boy was doing. He was seemingly on fire, yet was showing no ill effects at all, just standing there in a mass amount of golden energy. The look on the faces of each of the men was a look of shock, and several of them, including King Perion, began clapping in approval of what they were being shown. Seiryou slowly unclenched his fists to relax, and in doing so, the golden aura around his body disappeared, his golden hair falling back down upon his head in a black color, losing his transformed state at his relaxed nature. Caedus looked down at the young boy with a smile of approval as well, his brown gaze turning to the Council, slapping his right fist into his chest on the left side.
"King Perion, I request taking this boy under my wing as an apprentice. Never before have I felt such incredible power radiate from a being, let alone a child, and I believe it would be to our benefit to train the boy in the ways of combat. He may indeed be the future of this kingdom, M'Lord"
The King did not seemed to be opposed to the idea at all, a large smile coming over his face. People would come from all over to see the "Golden Child", a member of the kingdom of Yagath, and perhaps it's greatest champion. He nodded his head several times, dismissing the others with a wave of his hand, no longer needing their services. As the robed men left the room, Perion made his way slowly over towards Seiryou, his piercing gaze not once leaving the little boy.
"Sir Caedus, I grant your request to take the boy under your wing. I believe he will bring great wealth and prosperity to this kingdom, and perhaps one day become it's champion. I look forward to watching you grow, young Seiryou. My home is now your home. Welcome to the Castle of Yagath."
Seiryou kept his eyes on the King as he neared, trying to be as respectful as possible by keeping his eyes on him while he was speaking, his little body shaking with nervousness. He smiled at the words brought forth by the King, nodding his head several times, ready to begin his training with Caedus at anytime. Yagath had just met its future, and young Seiryou had just began his journey to become the strongest fighter the world had ever seen.

Only two months had passed since the day he had met King Perion, but it had felt like an eternity to him. Caedus had been training him endlessly in the ways of sword combat, and though he was getting the concepts, the power and speed were not there to back up his movements. In those two months, he had not been able to..transform, not once. The King was becoming impatient with his lack of progress, and he had heard talks of perhaps being left behind if he did not show what he was capable of. He had tried everything; from getting extremely anger, from forcing himself to think of his mother, but nothing was working. He was beginning to think that this transformation was nothing but a fluke, and apparently, he wasn't the only one. He was so excited to be taken under Caedus' wing, but it had been nothing but torture, as he was being pushed to transform almost every second of every day.
Seiryou stared out the window of his chambers to the beautiful scenary outside, awaiting Caedus to come tuck him in for bed, but for some reason, he was incredibly late. He moved off his bed to walk to the door, stopping before he reached it to hear two voices coming from outside his door. He placed his back up against the wall very gently, hearing what seemed to be Caedus and King Perion outside his door, discussing something. He leaned a bit closer to the door, wanting to hear everything they were saying, starting to catch bits and pieces of their conversation.
"This is not right, M'Lord. He is just a boy...he would not harm us. I am highly against this...taking this boys life because he could be a threat to us later? I will follow you the end of the earth and back, M'Lord...and if you believe this is the best choice of action, then I will carry it out with a heavy heart. You have my word, M'Lord."
Seiryous eyee widened in fear, his tiny hands clenching into fists, not knowing what to do. His only friend was going to take his life, and he had nowhere to go. No way out. The intense emotion of the moment was all he needed, the Vaiou energy inside him letting loose into his inner energy, igniting his body into a golden flame, hearing Caedus start to push in the door. Seiryou had no control over what was happening, and when he screamed out into the night, the entire room suffered the consequence. The energy within him came to the surface and released, the bright golden flash destroying the stone around him, blowing the walls out around him, taking a huge chunk out of the castle itself.
Everyone below stared up in disbelief as the dust began to form around the destruction, every soldier of the kingdom running in that very direction to help what was going on. Seiryou began to fall through to the lower levels, but through sure will, he shot off into the night sky, not being able to sustain the flying ability for long, coming down into the forest path just before the exit. He landed in one of the tree branches, the golden light around his body disappearing, his emotions running wild. The tears began to well up in his eyes, not understanding why these things were happening to him. The soldiers began to ride into the forest path, but passed under him, not knowing where he was at all. Seiryou brought his knees to his chest and hugged them tightly, crying himself to sleep. He just wanted to go home.

The uncomfortable silence during the night made it so he continued to wake up periodically, the teal eyes of the young boy staring through the masses of trees before him to see the castle, a big portion of it's upper half blown away from his energy outburst. Seiryou had been up in one of the tallest trees for hours, waiting for the search parties below to finally go back to the castle, and after enough waiting, they were starting to form into groups and settle in for the night. When all but one of them began to return to the castle, Seiryou quietly came down from branch to branch, getting lower to the ground with every movement, almost stalking this lone soldier who must have heard something to cause him to stay behind. Just above the ground, Seiryou rested in the darkness of the tree cover, waiting for the man to come his way. When the soldier had checked out what he had wanted and came up with nothing, he mounted his horse, beginning to ride back towards the castle on the forest path. Seiryou dropped down on the branch to grasp it with his hands, using it to swing his body forwards, both of his feet catching the lone soldier square in the forehead, knocking him clear off his horse to the ground below.
Seiryou landed on the horse after his swinging motion, looking back over his shoulder to see if the soldier was out. The man didn't move a muscle at all, laying flat on his back on the dirt path, seemingly knocked out from the force of the boys swinging kick. Seiryou turned the horse around to start riding off in the opposite direction of the castle, moving through the forest path Caedus had once brought him through, not knowing at all where to go. He had not travelled these lands that often, and when he did, he was hardly paying attention to where things were. Once again, he was left behind by the ones he thought cared about him, and this time, it seemed to be a striking blow. Seiryou could not understand why his mother was taken from him, nor why he was turned on by the people of the castle, and each moment he thought about it, tears began to well up in his eyes.
The quiet sounds of the animals in the forest path was all that could comfort him, riding slowly through the path towards what seemed to be an opening, torchlights becoming visible far ahead of him. He stared forwards once he reached the opening to the forest path, a small village catching his eye, the lights coming from it surely meaning that there were people there that could perhaps help him. Seiryou cautiously rode towards the village, and when he had come close enough, he stopped the horse in its tracks, hearing two men near one of the tents discussing something.
"You don't say? Ya, I heard the Lady Nyghtfallen has been goin' off the wall lately, and this disease that is spreadin' is goin' to get us all, ya think? I mean, ya have to wonder if it was someones doin' in the castle up ahead there. All I can can tell ya is to stay as far away from tha' place as possible, sonny. I hear it may be cursed or somethin'"
Seiryou gently patted the horse to continue forwards, several thoughts running through his mind. Another castle? If it was in need of help, maybe he could help them, and be accepted for perhaps the first time in his life. He stared forwards along the path, a look of determination on his face. He was going to help save those people, and maybe then...he would fine a true home.

The horse suddenly came to a halt on the bank nearest the water, it's rider peering across the moon-lit surface to the massive structure that laid on the other side. He had been riding for days on end, stopping during the night to rest in safe locations, and though he was still extremely fatigued, Seiryou was more than aware now that he saw the castle only a mile away, if that. It had been days since he had eaten anything, and the water he had been drinking was disgusting, even by his standards, causing him to only ration a canteen of it that he had gotten from the well near that small village he had passed. There would be no way he would get into the castle on horseback, gently sliding down off the horse to let his feet hit the ground, tapping it's side as if to tell it that it was free. After a few moments, the horse wandered off into the forest, leaving Seiryou alone to find a way into the castle.
He had remembered the first time he had entered Yagath with Caedus, where he was so easily excited about anything he had seen in the town square. The people, the shops, the overall activity..it was something that the brash 5-year old got worked up about everytime he thought about it. This time, however, was different. Even at a young age, Seiryou was beginning to understand the harsh nature of the people he had encountered, and everytime he placed trust in one of them, they had turned their back on him. His gift granted him acceptance in Yagath, and he hoped that if he could control it again, that he could finally be accepted in a place he could call home.
At that moment, Seiryou felt an odd chill move up his spine, a cold presence residing in the immediate area. He stared around in every direction, becoming extremely nervous, the odd feeling causing his fear to induce his energy, the golden aura forming around his tiny body, a look of confusion coming over his face. The wind was blowing at a much faster speed than before, and it wasn't caused by his energy at all, for that he was sure. Again, the cold feeling crept up his spine, not knowing what was out there, only hearing the wind pick up substantially around him. He began stepping back, falling back into the fighting stance Caedus had taught him, ready for whatever it was to show itself.
"Come out here! I can feel you, I know you're there! Stop hiding from me, and go away! You can't scare me, because I'm a fighter, and I can beat you!"
With the young Super Saiya-jin yelling, the shadows within the area began to shape infront of him in the form of a human-like body, not allowing him to view the figure, but only see the outline. Seiryou kept stepping back, ready to fight, but so obviously afraid. This was his first encounter with the man named Aeon.

The shadowy figure stood much taller than the young Saiya-jin, seemingly looking down upon the boy with no expression written on his invisible features. Seiryou look terrified at this point, not knowing at all what to do, his teal gaze staring upwards at the tall figure before him. He took a few steps backwards to almost put his boot into the water, feeling that he had nowhere to go at this point. If this figure was going to hurt him, or come after him in anyway, he was going to have to fight it to save his life. Seiryou trembled in fear, having never fought anything like this before, not at all confident in his ability to defeat such a thing.
The figure began to show a faint outline of a face, it's eyes indeed staring down at the young boy, seemingly studying the golden energy that was still flowing around his smaller body. After a few moments, the figure stepped forward to reveal more of it's facial features, causing Seiryou to open his eyes wider in fear, never having seen something at all like that before. The figure stopped after its step, taking in a deep breath, its deep voice ringing out through the air.
"Your mysterious power is becoming evident to me, boy. Such an impressive trick for such a young child. You have nothing to fear from me. I am merely studying your power, for I have never seen something quite like this before. My name is Veras, but you may call me Aeon, as the rest of these beings around this place do."
Seiryou eased a bit at Aeons words, his stance dropping, that terrified look seeming to instantly drop from his facial features. He stared upwards at the figure, still quite in awe of its features, the golden glow of his aura having absolutely no effect on the darkness that shrouded Aeon's body. He tried to think of something to say right off, not wanting to seem afraid, but he had no idea what to speak of to the much taller man before him. Seiryou dropped his arms to his sides to look at ease. taking in a deep breath, searching for the words he wanted to let out to the stranger.
"I don't wish any trouble, Mr Aeon. I just want a place to stay, and some food...I'm so hungry. I've been travelling for 3 days to get here, and I haven't been able to eat anything. Please, Mr Aeon, bring me into the castle, and I'll show you everything I can about my energy that you are interested in."
Aeon simply nodded his head in approval of the deal, having no problem whatsoever bringing the young boy into the castle. The doors were open to anyone, and it was a small price to pay to perhaps learn the secrets of this new ability he had never seen before.

The shadowy figure of Aeon and the little boy made it across the water quite easily, arriving in the courtyard of the large castle that stood before them. This castle was much different than the one st Yagath, as even though it was night, there was hardly anyone in the town square. Everywhere he looked, there were odd-looking beings in which he had never seen before. Just as they were about to step inside the doors, a young girl with blue hair came running up from behind, an excited look on her face. Seiryou stared up at the girl with a confused look on his face, backing up a little bit, as if looking for some sort of confirmation from Aeon that this girl was alright. Aeon did nothing, leaving Seiryou alone to deal with the young woman, watching him step through the doors. Before he could even think of what to say, the blue-haired girl who had striking cat-like features began to speak.
"Oh wow, look at you! Your hair is sooooo cute! Hi, my name is Angelina Ryter, but you can call me Angel. I live here in the Castle of Dragons with my brother Maxurus. So what's your name??"
Seiryou was shocked by the eagerness to get to know him she was showing, and everything about her just seemed so innocent, like a child. A big smile spread over his face after she had finished her sentence, regaining that child-like carefree nature he had once had before all this tragedy had struck him. She was so energetic, and so nice, that no matter what kind of mood he was in, he couldn't help but smile.
"Hi, Angel. I'm Seiryou. I'm new here, and I'm looking for a place to stay. And I don't know if you could help me out, but is there any food inside I could eat? I'm staaaaaaarrrving"
Angelina merely smiled and laughed, pushing the door open as if to say "Come on!", walking in with the door held open for him. He stepped through into the dark main room, noticing so many more people, all of which looked like they were from different walks of life. He followed Angel through the room, stopping as she went behind a few doors to apparently get the food, left alone in the room. Everyone seemed to be staring at him, and he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. Perhaps he had finally found the home he was looking for.

As he stood there, a woman began to stride over to him, the breeze in the room seemingly getting stronger just by her presence. She stood before him, garbed in mostly black, a baby cradled in her arms. She looked at Seiryou with very untrusting, suspicious eyes, but lost that look when she had noticed his child-like demeanor. Seiryou stared up at the woman, relaxing once her expression changed, never having met this woman before in his life. The entire room had seemed to stop looking at him at this point, and for that he was glad. Judgiug by all the different people in the room, he was going to fit in just fine, as long as they weren't cruel and unusual to him. He heard her gentle voice ring through the air, not expecting her to say anything to him at all, but not at all worried when she did.
"Who be ye? Me name is Selene Shadowdancer, but they others be callin' me Air. Welcome to ye Castle of Dragons, youngin'. If ye plannin' on stayin', we be havin' to get you some new clothes or somethin', and maybe somethin' ta eat. We be keep runnin' into these outsiders lately, but they never be stayin' anymore."
Her accent had thrown him off to begin with, not ever having heard something quite like that before, but he had listened to everyone of her words. She seemed alright with him staying here, and for that he was glad. None of them were asking about his transformation at all, except for Aeon, but that was only because he was interested, not obsessed like the people in Yagath were. He nodded his head at Air a few times, trying to act as thankful as possible for the opportunity to stay in a place like this. Angel had come out through the doors only a moment later, bringing with her a plate of food; chicken, rice, beans, potatoes, and bread.
"Oh boy! That looks delicious!"
Seiryou sat down at one of the tables and ate the food, meeting all the different people in the room one by one. He already knew Angelina, the cat-like girl from the Ryter bloodline. Aeon, the powerful sorcerer. Air, the First Knight of the Castle. Each of them in the room came up and introduced themselves while Seiryou was eating; Scorch Lethae, the former First Knight. Victor Kuroji, the brash young mercenary. Avalon, the seductive succubus, and Thalia, the Lady of the Castle. Seiryou had finally found his home, and it was time for him to settle down and learn the extent of his power.
