Yeah...The Vampire is a character i've been playing since the begining. My very first, running up until now,and im rather glad this has been "verified" because those who play vampires untraditionally should just be shot! <note the sarcasm>

Well... people who want to play a vampire need to know how to play a vampire.....damnit. I mean, you wouldn't expect someone who didn't know how to play an 'Omnis' to play one of Eric's characters.

I agree, Alex. I don't like the idea of messing around with it. In fact, whenever I've come across a vampiric character it's always been modified completely and fully, to the point where you might as well just change the damn race. I can understand why people want to do this; I guess they want to keep the superhuman qualities of the species but get rid of the disadvantages, and it's not illegal, at least not here what with characters like Alex Masters and others, but I'm sure it's frowned on by traditional vampire players. I've never played one myself, but I know alot about them just from role-playing with them in the setting. If you guys have anything to add that I might have left out or misjudged or something else go right ahead, though you might have to get a moderator to change it for you because I don't have that old sign in name's password.

Creation is but the Usurpers of legends of old gods waking from sleep needing just a tad bit of Creation itself to quicken oneself, Legends of death within itself can make one laugh Adiathermanous is one in itself as an example,. As for the insulting one above to the people that have little more to do that that which is in there nature to in life as into make common mistakes, or take less interest in these web games created to fill the void which some yern for because of the lack of adventure in life itself you remind me of the cul.dee. they had a taste for Killing useing a Shillelagh to open the eye's up of ones lack of intellectual and Nocturnal yearning for death It'self {to the Admin you did a fine job on the death parts but left a few out if I may? look up nails, and the option of drinking dead blood by the way dont forget the fact that killing of another Vampire results in death from other vampires P.S. Nice forum and great search on vald History

Necropyre..
You copided that from Me using it on AQ? havent you?
A Necrogen Vampire.. The term NEcropyre does indicate it has necromancer properties.. how ever they are not savage.. They are in fact intellagent. and arent actually related to vampires. the deit is not blood, but mana, or life energy.. their fangs are for show, or used if they are helld onto.
Their intellegence makes them differ from vampires. in addition they are anti social to each other.. if two would come in contact its either like 2 betas in one fish bowl, or pure ignoring. They can pass off as humans..
Traditional nec ropyre clothin is hooded cloak with dark plate armor in the mix. they are melee users due to their stregnth. they are not weak to light, but dislike direct contact due to the fact it blurs their vision, and lowers their fighting abbility, but wont kill them. garlic is useless, and so is silver, they may enter churches, and places of holyness...
They mostly stay in palces deemed Temples of Necros.. a place or area filled with necrogen..
Never actually say they are vamps. tha tis a disgrace. Sicne vamps use their fangs.. while necropyres seldom ever use them.

What is a vampire? The word in essence means 'blood-monster' or 'blood-drinker'. Therefore, anyone who consumes blood can be considered a vampire. There is no real science behind it, although some cultists have made the act of vampyrcraft into a religious practice. There are some who consume blood for spiritual purposes, believing that the blood gives them enhanced energy or youth. Some believe vampires to be immortal, unless staked through the heart, and that these immortals can change shape and seduce the living. And then there are the psychopaths like myself, who do not care about vampires, but who simply drink blood because they like the iron taste and scarlet color. Hannibal Lector, Prince Dracula, Elizabeth Bathory, Ivan the Terrible, these are all vampires in some way or another. Vampires alone are easy characters to play, there should be little confusion. The complications arise from these half-breeds who are neither vampire nor human, but something inbetween. Or perhaps they are different altogather, like half-demon or half-god. Angels, demons, gods, and goddesses should be watched for, and anyone claiming to be one should be killed and ignored.
