As the other crew members fell under Shuinia's spell, I remained skeptical of her sincerity. She possessed incredible strength, and though we did not see it until a few months later, her magical prowess was by far the greatest this world had ever seen. She would light the sky with her energy, and create light sources that rivaled even the sun. The rest of the crew seemed only astonished, and did not seem to look at the bigger picture: If she was capable of doing these incredible acts of magic, then if she were to stop 'caring' about our lives, then she could end them just as quick. Shuinia never noticed my skepticism, and for that I was thankful. I put on a smile, and seemed genuinely excited about her powers just as the others did. For months, Shuinia stayed on the island with us, and it was not until we were about to leave that she showed her true colors.
My name is Yu Elysia, and I am the captain of the "LifeGiver", a sea vessel dedicated to carrying cargo from one area to the next. My crew and I stopped on the island of Macalan, which was routine, to drop off supplies for their growing community. There are eight of us in all. At the end of our journey, however, I knew only a few of us were going to return home. It was the burning gaze that Shuinia held that led me to believe I, myself, was not going to survive this trip, either. Only time will tell.

What happened next was something I had been expecting for quite some time. Shuinia had been docile for the majority of our stay, though I knew it was nothing but a facade. Two of my crew members, Acaran and Leiol, were found slaughtered on the beach today. Their bodies were mangled beyond anything I had ever seen. The rest of my crew refused to believe the obvious truth; Shuinia had done this. For hours, I attempted to sway their opinions, but to no avail. They were far too caught up in Shuinia's web of lies and deceit. I, however, know otherwise. I refuse to believe anything good about the "calamity from the skies". That is what I had dubbed Shuinia, for obvious reasons. Today, I sat down with her to go over some questions, as I wanted to know what it was that I was dealing with. The report is as follows:
-Shuinia Verus, age unknown, fell from the sky on January the first, Zero-Year 2. -Her memory of her own origin is close to nothing, though she claimed she was the "beginning and end" of all life. -Her pregnancy was unexplained. She's unable to bear the child. -She brought up constant references to the ten "Sephirahs" of the Tree of Life. -She claimed to be some sort of Seraphim.

Shuinia also explained the "Doors to Tomorrow" theory, in which she said she held the "key" to purging the world of its sins. My interest in the subject grows with every passing day. Shuinia explained to me today the very essence of the Doors to Tomorrow. An Omnis, as I had dubbed her kind, were the gatekeepers of a spell that destroyed the planet, and created it anew afterwards. As Shuinia had described today, there are eight points on the planet where the Omnis are able to 'unlock' the gates. Once the final gate is opened, Shuinia claimed the world would be destroyed instantly. The souls would remain, and be reborn once again along with the planet. When I asked Shuinia if they remained the same physically, they being the humans, she said they were completely different people, with no recollection of their previous lives. My interest in Shuinia had overtaken my paranoia today. When the people of Macalan had heard of my reports today, there was a general distrust beginning to form. If Shuinia held this much power, she would have to be stopped. It was unfortunate, as I am going to predict all of their deaths if indeed they do attempt to end Shuinia's life. She is far too power for them.
For anyone...

The flames raged throughout the town today. Even now, I am fearful to write this. I am trapped on my ship, with my crew preparing the ship for departure. She killed them all, unprovoked. She knows exactly what was going on. No one on this island is safe. If these scriptures survive and I do not, please, stop her. Someone, please stop Shuinia. She will destroy us all. I will avenge m------------------
The report ends here. I can only assume you destroyed this man, Mother. You were unable to bear me, so you passed me on. This man did not understand your pain, Mother. We are the same. Misunderstood, tragically living life, feared by those that wish to be ignorant. Let them fear us, Mother. We are the true rulers of this planet.

Time has fallen, Its hands stopped turning. Destiny has begun, The story unfolding.
A woman has chosen, One man's love forsaking. A father has sinned, His cruelty everlasting.
A man has grown, Upon lies unforgiving. Love has died, Long before truth revealing.
A warrior has fought, For his fate unyielding. Yet life has gone Against him conspiring.
The end has came, A one-winged angel dying. Time has fallen, His story unchanging.
My meeting with the Lord and Lady was rather short. It seems whoever had written that note was justified in their opinion of these two people. Their lives ended soon after our conversation. Their "First Knight", a woman by the name of Airoria Celestian, rushed in afterwards, only to add to the crimson veil I had put on the floor. Their ignorance was intolerable, Mother. Watching them stride about as if they truly were royalty was more than enough for me to end their lives on the blade of my Muramasa. Surprisingly, other than their over-zealous first knight, I was met with no resistance as I exited the castle. As for our conversation, it was simply this:
I had sat down at the end of the long table in their chambers, as they sat the other end, with no one else present in the room. I had started the conversation by standing to my feet and walking over towards the massive window on the right side of the room.
"I seek a man named Areyu, who is said to reside within these walls. His life shall end by my blade, but if you so wish it, it will not happen on these grounds."
It seemed as if they were surprised by my words. It was Thalia Nyghtfallen who spoke:
"I shall not let thee murder a man seeking refuge within our walls. I ask you now to leave our beloved castle."
I saw no point in continuing. After that, their lives had ended by my Muramasa. From the castle, I work my way through the forest, Kaelakia Forest. Today, I start my journey through.

Mother, this forest must have been your doing. It is filled with energy from the planet. Filled with memories. It seems to be a product of the Doors to Tomorrow, possibly the center of the rebirth. Those reports plaguing my mind, Mother. I have read them time after time, and still something bothers me. These ten "Sephirahs" of the Tree of Life. What do they mean? Are they truly just the spheres of the body, or is there something more to it than that? I must say, it's been on my mind for quite some time now. This man, Areyu, was said to have fled to Eidolon, which is just beyond this forest. They believe in Eidolon, that this Yu Elysia you killed is somehow their savior. It seems I am not the only to read his reports. They will fear me too, Mother, just as they did you. If they are fearful and try to eliminate me as they did you, they will join their 'savior' in death. This cruel world has taken you from me, taken Ash from me. It is time I take from them. I am the true Seraphim. They are the puppets.
I wish you were here to see this, Mother. This forest is beautiful. Soon, perhaps I can show it to you. For now, this journal will have to do. If we truly are "calamities from the sky", then this planet shall be ours.
