Honestly, this is funny for me, because never before in any post has there been anymore hatred for me. I got more heat on this thread in RPGC than I've ever gotten before in my career. I guess it just goes to show I can respect that kind of stuff. The fact is, it got deleted for no reason at all, and since D. Gaebal is around, I figured I'd start it up for him again so he could get some good OOC discussion going. The floor is yours, man.

Dude, you screw with the grand scheme of things, and you're bound to get heat. The thing you tend to get heat for is ooc though, not IC. You come off as 'an idiot trying to be cool'. Just figured I'd give it to you straight. The only reason I get away with being egotistical is because I can pull off coming off as 'condescending', which most people can't argue against, because it's hard to figure out if you're as stupid as their making you feel, or if you're just on the receiving end of a devious asshole. And if they do figure you out, you can always argue 'what are you talking about, you're misunderstanding'. My weapon of choice, bwahahahaha...
And damn straight the Gaebels tend to be assholes. You should have seen 'em when they had the original third member. Of course, I sucked back in those days, and only looked at the place because it was bunked down in my old clan's HQ xD
((The funny thing is, the RP wasn't bad in those days. It was actually pretty good, when you counted out the few overpowered and unskilled RPers that invaded from time to time))

The thing is, all of it is intentional. When you constantly throw your ability in someones face, they're going to get pissed, especially when you haven't proved it yet. It only gets worse when you do prove it, and then they can only be angry at your arrogance. There's nothing better than riling up a crowd, and that's what I do everytime I post on a place i've never been before. I love playing a heel, and I couldn't be happier with the reactions I get.

Of course, I sucked back in those days, and only looked at the place because it was bunked down in my old clan's HQ xD I love you too, bitch. =P And to think, I came here just to try to help your little idea out. Heh. Even if we are assholes, you must admit our OOC threads were easily the most popular discussion threads on RPGC for a long time, if not in the entire history of the site. And continuing my Edit-A-Thon. Your powers have worked. I'm confused now. What did Sivel have to do with our asshole factor? Sivel didn't even really talk to anyone OOC. He tried his best and people just wouldn't accept his writing. It's amusing in a way that he wrote with a very advanced vocabulary. The same quality of writing that got you lots of points with other RPers.

See, this is something I don't know about, seeing as I wasn't there from the beginning. I didn't like J much, but the rest of the people were just defending their site, just like I knew they would. And as much as this thread flammed the crap out of me, it was immensely popular, which is why you see it here.

Probably why you didn't like J was because he was an ass to you. Which is understandable. Everyone was, for the most part. And he's used to being well respected as a fighter. You came in and talked trash to anyone you felt like, and I'm sure he didn't like that.
Yeah. I was sort of amazed at how popular it became.. Alot of it we owe to the bit of controversy that came from our placement. We put the thread in the Clan Council forum, which led to the people that owned(but didn't use) it getting annoyed at us. That generated alot of traffic, especially since they gave up and decided to stay in the thread.

lol. I remember that. I remember I posted my entrance there, in their 'post your entrance into the town' thing, and a few days later, Tip had posted, saying the obvious 'yeah, I like to see my name on stuff too'.
But anyways, yeah, it wouldn't be fair to say Sivel was the producer of the 'asshole-effect'. It came from having all of you in the same place, at the same time.

Hrm. The entrance into town thing sounds vaguely familiar, but I thought it was from my days in the Dark Reformation. Odd. I'm still not following with the "it came from having all of you in the same place, at the same time" thing, but whatever. I'm not good with figurative statements and stuff...
Sivel didn't even reek assholeishness I didn't think. Maybe it's just cause he's my friend, and of course I wouldn't think we were being asses. -Shrug- Whatever. That's a while ago. Hopefully we can get some more good familiar RPers around here. It seems to be a decent sized community, but not too many people seem to be going for it. Maybe when things get set up more, eh?

They just need to be shown what this place can do, that's all. It's not an overnight process of getting people to roleplay in one area, but slowly but surely, more people are looking into it, and joining in. The more you pass out the URL, and show them what is going on here, the easier it'll be for them to join in.

The crowd runs, the crikets cheer, the dull loney person.
HE comes in colors, he comes in a skinny size, he comes with a no-ego label.

Guess who's back.. back again? Shu is back. Tell a friend! Shu is back.. Shu is back.. Shu is back.. Hail Gunslinger!! The Lone Gunman lives forever. I didn't like you either Seph, But I never participated in any of the flaming on you. I did however say my own piece on how I felt about you after you showed me a shade of your true colors. But whatever, All is forgiven now and it's in the past. Dan, I never hated the original Trio, Judas, B-dawg.. Brandon was always my boy. Ever since I joined RPGC and met him while I was in ECLIPSE and dabbled in hating on the RED Clan. Good Times.. Good Times. But yea, Like I said before; I'm not inviting anyone until this site is set up a bit better. It's not as pretty or organized as RPGC is. Pretty meaning as Established. IMHO. Now.. Someone make me a kickass Siggy-Banner or Perish OoCly. =/ -Konichiwa Bitches. [ :.TLG.:]

Lol Fell. Hey. Didn't know someone told you about this place. Welcome aboard regardless. And hello to you too, TLG. I know you didn't hate us.
Though..Not inviting people because the place isn't very established doesn't make much sense xD By inviting more people, we can establish it. I suppose I can't make you invite people though, so -shrug- Anyway, drink, and be merry..
